Marktaandeel Google’s Chrome valt tegen

The Netherlands has the new browser Chrome Google a market share of only 0.42 percent. That is below the global average of 0.54 percent. This is demonstrated by new figures from OneStat. Google itself has already announced its aggressive program in 2009 to distribute.

During the launch of Chrome, beginning September, the market fluctuated around the browser of a percent. In Belgium (1.08%) and Spain (1.34%), the share is still above one percent. In the U.S. state Chrome at about 0.62 percent.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer is still by far the most used browser in the world with a market share of 81.36 percent. In our country this is even 85.67 percent. The most popular browser on the Internet in the Netherlands, Internet Explorer 7 with a market share of 62.34 percent.

The overall share of Mozilla is 11.45 percent which is an increase of 1.32 percent since February. Apple's Safari browser has a market share of 1.76 percent. Worldwide, this is 2.42 percent.

Google has already made in 2009 that its browser is spreading very aggressive. In The Times reported that Deputy Director Sundar Pichai the company is busy with computer manufacturers. The search giant wants that Chrome as the default browser is installed on computers sold, a tactic that Microsoft Internet Explorer has applied with great success.
